3 Day 2 night in Merzouga Desert  from Marrakech ( désert only).

DESCRIPTION

Day 1: marrakech – high atlas mountains – ouarzazate – merzouga (570km) 9 hours

Your 3 days trip from marrakech to merzouga will start with pick up by your driver from marrocos tours company at your hotel/ riad in marrakech in the early morning at 7:00 am and depart to the high atlas mountains, going through tizi n tichka port with stops for panoramic views and taking pictures of the berber villages and its beautiful landscapes.

Then we continue to ait ben haddou ( fortified village) declared a world heritage site by unesco since 1986 , manu famous films were recorded in the spectacular place such as game of thrones, gladiator, the mummy…etc

Our trip continued to ouarzazate, also known as the gate of the desert, and from there we took the road to draa valley. We’ll make some stops to enjoy the beautiful view of the valley. It’s the longest valley in Morocco. Our journey continue to small berber village of nkobe you will break for lunch , and then we continue our way to the desert to reach the stunning dunes of merzouga where we’ll spend the night in Hotel with diner and breakfast included.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erg chebbi – Merzouga (Meeting with the nomads)

After the breakfast, you will take the route through the great dunes, passing by: 2 Oasis of Merzouga, the village of KHAMLIA (home of Gnaoua), the mines of MIFISS, the desert plateau and the nomads of the desert, Oasis of TISSARDMINE, and we will return to the hotel at three in the afternoon to join the caravan experience the camel trekking through the golden sand dunes with break to watch the incredible sunset over the dunes , try sandboarding ,enjoy the beautiful landscapes until the sun goes down.

Then continue to berber camp merzouga where you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea and relax till dinner time, after that there will be some traditional berber drumming music around the fire, admire a beautiful starry sky , and sleep at nomadic tented camp.

Day 3: merzouga- ouarzazate – marrakech (570km ) 9 hours

As you are already in the desert it is worth waking up early in the morning to watch the sunrise in the desert to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise you have ever seen at the top of the dune near the camp.

After you will have a delicious breakfast and take shower at the camp , after tgat, you will ride your camels or we can transfer you by our 4WD back to the original meeting location where you will meet the driver.

And start our journey back to marrakech through the different road where you will see the rose valley and skoura palm grove a beautiful place place to contemplate countless palms and numerous kasbah that are built in the surrounding area we’ll stop for lunch.Our trip continues towards ouarzazate going through the atlas mountains to marrakech drop off at your hotel.
