Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Tazenakht – Agdz

Starting with a pick-up from your accommodation in Agadir, write a beautiful note on an incredible 4-day journey through the Anti-Atlas. Along the road, head to some Berber villages as you leave Agadir towards Agdz via Taroudant, a famous and historical city that looks like a small Marrakech. We will have a short visit to this charming city to discover Argan oil which is a famous product in the Agadir regions. Stop at Taliouine and discover saffron and the local Berbers. Next visit is Tazenakht, best known by its kind people and old traditional homemade carpets. Then a lunch on the way to Tazenakhet with delicious Berber gastronomy.

We continue to see the natural landscapes along the High Atlas road, then we head to a beautiful and good place which is Agdz, a small town in the middle of southern Morocco. Enjoy the view of the Atlas Mountains and discover the ancient Amazigh architectures with the old Kasbahs. Also see the Jbel Kissane which is famous by its Tajine dish shape. As by the meaning of its name, Agdz means “resting place” is a well-deserved name and it is a place where you will spend the second night with kind and gentle Berber people with delicious Berber gastronomy.

Day 2: Agdz – Tazarine – Alnif – Rissani – Dune Merzouga Erg Chebbi

After a night in Agdz, have a delicious breakfast in your riad and enjoy the sunrise that this place always offers.

At this time, we take the road through the High Atlas to visit other places. Tazarine is a small village in the Jbel Saghro region that is known for the production of Henna. Then, drive it to Alnif through a vast land of nature. Surrounded by arid mountains, these are dotted with many Paleozoic rocks, dating from 245 to 570 million years. In this particular place, many researchers are used to looking for old rocks and fossils. Take a short break for a delicious Berber lunch before arriving in the other city.

The next visit will be Rissani which is known by its Moulay Ali Sheriff Mausoleum, a beautiful, peaceful and historical place. It is decorated with beautiful tiles and a walled garden with many date palms loaded with dates. It is also a direct gateway to the Moroccan desert.

Arriving at Merzouga Dunes Erg Chebbi, enjoy the camel ride to reach the desert with a beautiful sunset landscape to meet the staff of the desert camp and spend the night in the desert with the instruments of Sahrawi music.

Day 3: Merzouga Erg Chebbi Dune – Arfoud – Todgha Gorges – Dades Gorges – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou

After a night in Merzouga Dunes Eg Chebbi, have a delicious breakfast and enjoy the sunrise while crossing the golden desert by riding a camel.

at this time we take the road to Arfoud again the road is quite extraordinary. We will pass through palm trees and beautiful views, you can ask the driver to take pictures along the way. Explore the fascinating landscape of the Todgha Gorges, a series of limestone river canyons in the eastern part of the High Atlas. It is a wonder on earth, ideal for people who love trekking and climbing. A short walk through the Todgha and Dades Gorges is a pleasant and really comfortable experience as many tourists enjoy the sound of the gorges, the abundance of people and the murmur of the water.

at this time enjoy your lunch and a beautiful and natural restaurant before heading out to meet the local Berber life that still preserves its traditional culture in the Valley of Roses.

The next visit will take us to Ouarzazate where you will have a delicious lunch, after a short break and a city tour will take you to the Atlas Film Studio, the Moroccan Hollywood in Egyptian style. Since famous movie directors find it an ideal country to shoot their incredible movies and series like Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Alexander and more.

Take road to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, enjoy the fabulous and famous Kasbah by walking through it, Kasbah Ait Ben haddou is the most attracted by the tourist trade, it is considered one of the UNESCO world heritages, also known by its ancient history, it is a castle that was built in a high place of the Atlas Mountains which offers a panoramic view of the region and it is a perfect place where famous series and movies have been filmed. Discover the history of this kasbah by entering from one gate to another. After the walk, rest in a relaxing, comfortable and good hotel at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou with a delicious Moroccan Berber dinner.

Day 4: Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Taznakhet – Taroudant – Agadir

After a night at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, have a delicious breakfast at your hotel and enjoy the sunrise that this place always offers. At this point, we take the road back to Agadir catching what was missing from the beginning. In Tazenakhet, visit a carpet cooperative and catch an old and rare carpet and add it to your collection of treasures. Then head to Taroudant for a snack before hitting the road again and admiring the natural landscapes along the Anti-Atlas road. Return to Agadir in the afternoon.
