9 Day tour from Marrakech 

DESCRIPTION

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech .

Tour from marrakech start. Reception at Menara airport and welcome in Marrakech, transfer to Riad in the heart of the Medina.

Day 2: Cultural visit of Marrakech.

After breakfast, we will visit the main attractions of Marrakech, with a local guide.Colorful city with a special movement. Land of sultans and concubines,Its wealth is reflected in the palaces and gardens that fill the city with color and glory.People from all over the world fill the streets and riads, bringing life to its famous Jamaa El Fna Square. We will see the Koutoubia, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, the souks (markets), the Medina and the Jemaa El Fna square. So that you can enjoy the tour and walk through the streets of the Medina and the souks, the visit will be done on foot with a local guide. End of the visit scheduled for 2:00 p.m.Free afternoon to go shopping and enjoy the restaurants in Jemaa El Fna square.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley.

Today we will head south towards Ouarzazate. Along the way we will cross the surprising landscapes of the Atlas through the incredible Tizi n’Tichka pass, 2,260 metres high.Halfway there we will reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most surprising fortified city in Morocco, the set of films such as Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven. Continuing along the route we will reach Ouarzazate, where we will see the film studios and Kasbah of Taourirt.Taking the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura, and from here we will cross the Valley of the Roses to finally reach the Dades Gorges, where we will stay.

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast we will set off towards the Dades Valley and cross the incredible Todra Gorges, we will follow the road towards the Berber village of Tinjdad where we will have lunch.With our energy restored, we will head towards Merzouga and cross the Jorf Palm Grove (where the best dates come from) and Erfoud, a small town where you can visit a marble workshop.Finally we reach the Erg Chebbi dunes, once in Merzouga we will leave the 4X4 to enter the desert on camelback in search of the camp where we will spend the night. Here, in the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all of Morocco.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Ifrane – Meknes

Today we get up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, after breakfast we continue the trip to Fez, stopping in the Ziz Valley to contemplate its beauty, we cross the Middle Atlas (1900 m above sea level) arriving in Midelt for lunch, in the afternoon we continue the trip to Ifrane, the little Switzerland of Morocco, free time in the center to get to know the city, finally arriving in Meknes around 7:00 p.m., night in the Riad with breakfast included.

Day 6 : Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen.

After breakfast we will visit the famous Meknes gate Bab Mansour, the grand gate of Meknes, with some carvings and filigrees that make it special, and located in front of a large square where the souk is located. We continue the road to the Roman ruins, considered the best Roman ruins in Morocco, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is located 35 kilometers north of the city of Meknes, in the Zerhoun mountain range, which with heights of 1120 meters is populated by olive groves and orchards. They are located a few kilometers from the holy city of Moulay Idriss. In the afternoon we arrive in Chefchaouen, the blue and white city, free time to walk through its blue streets, accommodation in the riad with breakfast included.

Day 7: Chefchaouen – Fes.

Today we have the whole morning to learn more about the blue city, in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. we continue the trip to the city of Fes, we will cross the Rif mountains and the agricultural fields where most of Morocco’s wheat came from, arrival in Fez around 6:00 p.m. accommodation in riad with breakfast included.

Day 8: cultural visit to Fez.

After breakfast we will visit the city of Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco, and the scientific and cultural capital of Morocco, we will visit the ancient university al karaouine, the Andalusian Mosque, Tanneries, Souks (markets), the gates of the royal palace, the visit ends around 15:30, night in the Riad with breakfast included

Day 9 : transfer to Fez airport

Transfer to Fez airport according to your return flight and end of our services.
