8-DAY ITINERARY STARTING AND ENDING IN MARRAKECH

DESCRIPTION

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech.

 Tours from marrakech. Reception at Menara airport and welcome in Marrakech, transfer to your Riad in the heart of the Medina and visit the main attractions of Marrakech, with a local guide. A colorful city with a special hustle and bustle. Land of sultans and concubines,Its wealth is reflected in the palaces and gardens that fill the city with color and glory.People from all over the world fill the streets and riads, bringing to life its famous Jamaa El Fna Square. We will see the Koutoubia, the Saudi tombs, the Bahia Palace, the souks (markets), the Medina and the Jemaa El Fna Square. For you you can enjoy the tour and stroll through the streets of the Medina and the souks, the visit will be on foot with a local guide. The visit is scheduled to end at 2:00 p.m. Free afternoon to shop and enjoy the restaurants in Jemaa El Fna Square.

Day 1: Excursion to Essaouira.

Depart from your hotel at 8:30 am for an unforgettable day in Essaouira, the Pearl of the Atlantic known for its charm and beauty, as well as its total serenity.The journey will take two and a half hours through vast dry and argan plantations.Your exploration of this tourist city begins with a visit to the fortifications composed of a surprising mix of Portuguese and Berber military architecture. Take a tour of the medina and discover the souks, the carpentry workshops, the citadel and its small artisans, as well as a visit to the old port dedicated mainly to fishing where you can catch fresh grilled fish.In the afternoon return to Marrakech for an overnight stay at the riad with breakfast included.

Day 2: Marrakech – Kasbah ait ben Hadou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley.

Today we will head south towards Ouarzazate. Along the way we will cross the amazing landscapes of the Atlas via the incredible Tizi n’Tichka pass, 2,260 metres high.Halfway along the route we will reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most amazing fortified city in Morocco, the setting for films such as Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. Continuing on the route we will reach Ouarzazate, where we will see the film studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt.We will take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura, and from here we will cross the Rose Valley to finally reach the Dades Gorges, where we will stay.

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will head towards the Dades Valley and cross the incredible Todra Gorges. We will continue on the road to the Berber village of Tinjdad where we will have lunch.With our energy recharged, we will head towards Merzouga and cross the Jorf Palm Grove (where the best dates come from) and Erfoud, a small town where you can visit a marble workshop.Finally, we will reach the Erg Chebbi dunes to enter the desert on camels in search of the camp where we will spend the night. Here, in the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all of Morocco.

Day 4: Merzouga – Fez.

Today we get up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we continue our journey to Fez, stopping at the Ziz Valley to admire its beauty. We cross the Middle Atlas (1900 m above sea level) and arrive in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Ifrane, the little Switzerland of Morocco. Free time in the city centre to explore the city. We arrive in Fez in the late afternoon around 7pm. Overnight at the Riad with breakfast included.

Day 5: Cultural visit of Fez.

After breakfast we will visit the city of Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco, and the scientific and cultural capital of Morocco, we will visit the ancient university of al Karaouine, the Andalusian Mosque, Tanneries, Souks (markets), the gates of the royal palace, The visit ends around 3:30 pm, overnight at the Riad with breakfast included

Day 6: Fez – Chefchaouen

After breakfast we will head to Chefchaouen, the blue city, it is a small town located in the middle of the Rif mountains, arriving at noon we will drop you off at the hotel and have free time to walk through its blue and white streets, and its famous Otahamam square and the souks around it, accommodation in a hotel with breakfast.

Day 7: Chefchaouen – Casablanca – Marrakesh

After breakfast we will travel to Casablanca, the largest and most economical city in Morocco. Morocco, we will visit the Hassan II mosque, built over the waters of the Atlantic Sea, it is the largest mosque in North Africa, in the afternoon we will continue to Marrakech, accommodation in the Riad including breakfast.

Day 8: Riad/Hotel – Marrakesh Menaça Airport.

Transfer to Marrakesh airport at the flight time and end of our services
