5 Days Tour Marrakech to Merzouga Desert

DESCRIPTION

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Kelaa Mgouna – Boumalne – Dades Gorges

Merzouga tours from Marrakech, departure towards the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou via Tizi-n-Tichka (2260 m) and the High Atlas Mountains, arrival at Ait Ben Haddou, visit to the Kasbah and lunch. In the afternoon departure towards Ouarzazate to enter and visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Then you reach the Dades Gorge passing through Kelaa Mgouna, Boumalne and the Dades Valley. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Boumalen – Tinghir – Toudra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, return via the Dades Valley, continue towards the Boumalne, Tinghir and Todra Gorges, walk through the gorges and then departure towards Erfoud through the palm groves of Tinjdad (lunch on site) and Touroug. In Erfoud we will stop to visit the marble and fossil production workshop, then continue towards the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga (Meeting with the nomads)

After breakfast, you will take a tour of the great dunes, passing by: 2 Oases of Merzouga, its mirages, the city of KHAMLIA (Gnaoua village), the MIFISS mines, the desert plateau and the Berber nomads of the desert, Oasis of TISSARDMINE, and we will return to the hotel around three in the afternoon to join the caravan of dromedaries and be able to contemplate the sunset and then spend the night in Berber tents in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and accommodation at the camp.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate

Early in the morning we will go out to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara desert. Breakfast and departure to the Tafilalet palm plantation, passing through Rissani, the former Alaouite capital. Then we will leave for Alnif, where we will have lunch. Visit to Tazzarine, Tansihkt and N¬kob Oasis. We will continue to Ouarzazate, passing through the Draa Valley and the Berber village of Agdz by the AitSaoun route located at 1660m altitude. Arrival in Ouarzazate around 5:00 p.m. Dinner and accommodation in Ouarzazate.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

Departure in the morning for a panoramic tour of Ouarzazate, including the Kasbah Taourirt in the city center and the film studio where several international films were made, then continue to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains where we will have lunch. Arrival in Marrakech around 5:00 p.m. Drop you in your Riad/Hotel  and end of our service.
